Accepting Your Offer

In order to accept an offer from the College, students who need to apply for a study visa from abroad will be required to pay part of their tuition fees, as described in their conditional offer letter. Students can pay their entire tuition fees in advance as the College has the fee waiving procedure on full tuition fee payment. Once your application and registration have been completed, you will be issued with an Official Acceptance Letter. This document will enable you to apply for a student visa.

Transport:

Commuters can move straight to any direction within a very short time via Underground network. London buses (including night buses) are also symbolic of the city and efficient in providing services. London is virtually acting as the hub of network with rest of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland through network rail and luxurious bus services. The city is also intensely communicated with the world by its four international airports. Full time students are eligible for discounted travel.

Weather

UK is a cold temperate country with a very short summer. The variation of temperature in winter, spring and autumn is not very wide. International students who travel to this country in June may be equipped with light clothes but those who travel in September or January must have heavy clothing. It is also advisable to have rain proof jacket because rain is one the prominent characters of London weather.

Food

World’s most famous food brands are available in London. Food of all flavours and tastes can be found in London at affordable price. Students from any corner of the world cannot miss the food they are used to have at home. South Asian Spicy Masala, Chinese Hoisin duck, Caribbean style Beef, African Jollop Rice, Latin Grilled Tilapiya, Traditional English, American Fast Food, Italian Pizza, Spanish Chorizo ....

Social Behaviour

London entertains the people of most of the communities of the world. Students may not find much difference as the Londoners are varied with diversified culture, race, dresses, foods and they have the respect for all diversified groups.

UK has a strong drinking culture and it is not unusual that corner shops, bars, restaurants are selling alcohol as a regular normal goods. However there is also strong campaign for responsible drinking and in London public transports drinking alcohol is not allowed.

Smoking is illegal inside the closed public premises. Therefore smokers are refrained from smoking inside the College Building and around three metres from the building.

Religion

UK is a secular country and the people of all faiths have the right to practice their religious activities without prejudicing others. Thousands of churches, mosques, temples and pagodas are available in London. Around the College building a church, a mosque and a temple can be spotted in the same place.

Music

Pop, rock, jazz, classical!! Whatever the category of music they must be played in London. It has the long tradition of creation of masterpiece music and the Londoners cannot fail to feel the vibrancy of music.

Theatre

London has a long history of theatre culture. No one in London can ignore its range from historical globe to brash west end musicals. Students can enjoy the nearest theatre in Ilford which is just two minutes walk away from the campus.

Film

Either English film or Hollywood film or Bollywood film London is a hot spot for the blockbuster premiers. It has one of the largest screens in Europe and the central London Cinema Halls are good options for weekend treat.

Fashion and Shopping

London is one of the fashion and shopping cities in the world. Its west end flagship fashion shops are attracting millions of the shoppers from all over the world.

Sport

English are a sports nation and London is a venue of top class competitions. Apart from being elected as the 2012 Olympic city it has some names which are branded as the popular sports clubs in the world. It is a great place to watch the game of your choice (it may be football of Arsenal, Fulham, West Ham, Chelsea or Spurs or Rugby at Twickenham or Cricket at Lords or Oval).

Museums and Galleries

British museum, London Transport museum and the Natural History museum are just three names among many rich museums in London. This city is also hosting world class exhibitions of Arts in its famous galleries such as Tate Modern, Saatchi, Whitechapel, Photographers’ Gallery, and National Art Gallery.
